The website is now available in both English and Dutch

The website has been under heavy development for a while, but now we can say that the construction work is over and both the English version (www.studiogekko.com) as well as the Dutch version (www.studiogekko.nl) are now completed.
Visitors can easily change the language of the website from English to Dutch and vice versa by clicking on the language switch, which can be found in the black banner at the top right position.
A new look for the Studio Gekko logo

A new look for the Studio Gekko logo

The Studio Gekko logo has been subject to subtle adjustments. The font has remained untouched, but the characterizing depiction of the gekko underwent a stylized transformation. The former logo had too many details that became unrecognizable when scaled to a smaller size. Therefore, we made the depiction of the gekko in the logo more abstract and put more emphasis on the single, stylized footprint of the gekko. Because of its colour, you could also see it as a "blue-print".
The gekko forms a circle in the renewed logo, which depict the fact that Studio Gekko covers the entire design process; from conducting preliminary research, to creating concepts and to detailing the design into a technically feasible product. And at the end of each process the feedback of the validation makes the circle round by jumping back to the requirements that were determined in the beginning.
Not only the font, but also the depiction of the gekko in relation to the font, have been constructed according to the golden ratio.
